Dr. Alistair Aaronson is a physician, healthcare executive, and parent who founded CAIT to build the kind of support system he wishes had existed when his own family needed it. As the parent of a neurodivergent child, he experienced firsthand how deeply each provider cared, but how poorly enabled they were to provide that care due to fragmented systems, inadequate care coordination, and suboptimal parent engagement. CAIT was born from his belief that when providers are supported, families become more empowered, and children receive better care.
Dr. Aaronson earned his Bachelor of Science from Johns Hopkins University and his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He trained in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai, served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford, and holds a Master’s in Health Administration from USC. He is currently completing a Master of Science in Clinical Service Operations at Harvard Medical School.
